Artist Bio: Hi I am Pat and I have been weaving for over 25 years. I started weaving at a class in Hallowell when I had moved to the area to learn a new skill and also to make friends. Weaving baskets became very therapeutic and it has been one of my go to projects when I have to think things through. I taught classes out of my home for a few years and then found that my jobs and running rental cottages took up my time. I now weave often with a friend or my nephew Levi. He really inspires me to do more. Taking classes myself has helped me to stay fresh and learning new techniques is always fun. I have been to a weaving retreat in Idaho and plan to go to Florida this winter for 3 days of weaving.
